just bought one at home depot for $299. amazon is the cheapest on the net though. feels very well built. dont forget your oil though, i did.

Plenty of Power with Minimal Noise
The HW2000i generator produces plenty of power using very minimal gas. I’ve used it for the past two weeks camping to power two pieces of medical equipment while in the woods.

I received the Honeywell portable generator HW2000i yesterday. After filling with oil and fuel I attempted to start it. Very hard.

decent unit
Out of the box it becomes apparent that fit/finish are not first rate; there are flimsy metal clips that hold some of the panels on and mine had fallen off in the box.

Could not start the unit till after 2 hours of checking, found that the fule filter hose was to short and bent the inlet over to stop gas flow.
